2. Hosting and server log data
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technical data required to deliver it. This may include your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested resource, the amount of data transferred, the referrer, browser, operating system and access status.
This processing is necessary to provide the website securely and reliably and is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and uninterrupted operation of this online service. STRATO processes the data as a processor under an agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. Log data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required for operational and security purposes. Subject to specific security incidents, the hosting provider states that the maximum retention period is 90 days.
3. Protected demo download
After a successful login, the password-protected download area places a technically necessary session cookie. It contains a random session identifier, but not the password entered. The session ends when the browser is closed or after 30 minutes of inactivity. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The cookie is necessary to provide the protected access explicitly requested and therefore does not require consent under Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG.
4. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns steps prior to entering into or performing a contract, and otherwise on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully resolved, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
5. Cookies, analytics and external content
The public website does not use analytics, marketing or social-media services through this theme, nor does it load fonts or scripts from third parties. A consent banner is therefore not currently required. If such services are added later, this policy must be updated before they are activated and consent may have to be obtained.
6. Recipients and transfers to third countries
STRATO GmbH receives personal data as part of the hosting service. No transfer to countries outside the European Union or European Economic Area is intended for the functions described here.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may also object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In particular, you may contact the authority responsible for the German federal state in which the controller is established.
8. Security and updates
The website is provided exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections. We update this privacy policy when website functions, service providers or the applicable law change.
